There is a special place in Amsterdam Old West which attracts print making fans, art students and activists alike. It’s ‘Kaboem’, the diverse and artisanal print shop run and managed by Henny for over 30 years. I interviewed Henny and created a short story telling the history of the workshop and his involvement in it.
The story functions as a reminder of the importance and significance the squatting movement and DIY culture in creating creative and community spaces, some of which are still with us today.
